Charles J. McCauley is the owner and licensed master electrician. He still works in the field, still meets customers, still pulls permits under his own license. He holds a New York Class A Electrician credential through the City of Albany Department of Buildings & Regulatory Compliance, which is the top residential and commercial electrical license available in the city.
The rest of the crew includes experienced journeyman electricians, apprentices in training, and office staff who answer the phone during business hours. Small team, consistent faces, real accountability.

- Commercial services include retail and restaurant buildouts, office rewires, medical and dental office electrical, LED retrofits, emergency and exit lighting, code corrections, and commercial generator installation. We work with general contractors, property managers, and small business owners directly.
- Service areas include the full Capital Region (Albany, Troy, Clifton Park, Ballston Spa, Hudson, Colonie, and surrounding areas) plus Fulton County around Great Sacandaga Lake through our second service area.

Our Approach to the Work
We do not quote electrical work over the phone. We come to you, look at the actual conditions, and give you a written number. Phone quotes from electricians who have never seen your panel are guesses at best.
Every job starts with a written scope that spells out what we are doing, what it costs, how long it takes, and what the warranty covers. You sign before we start.
Every connection, every wire run, every panel update meets or exceeds current National Electrical Code. We do not cut corners on grounding, bonding, GFCI, or AFCI because shortcuts here are the difference between a safe install and a fire five years from now.
We file the electrical permit with your municipality as part of the job, schedule the inspection, and get the sign-off. This matters for home sales, insurance claims, and future work.
Drop cloths, careful drilling, dust control when we open walls. We do not leave your home worse than we found it.
If something we installed fails, we come back and fix it. We have been at the same address with the same phone number for over 20 years. That is not going to change.
